The Inspector General’s Office has formally requested that the National Electoral Council (CNE) sanction Ricardo Roa Barragán, CEO of Ecopetrol (NYSE: EC), for alleged violations of campaign finance limits and covering up expenses during Gustavo Petro’s 2022-2026 presidential campaign, where Roa served as campaign manager.
