Colombia is analyzing the possibility to allow unconventional techniques such as fracking to increase oil and gas reserves. ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) and Canacol Energy (TSX: CNE) requested environmental licenses to develop fracking projects in the Country. The National Environmental Licensing Agency (ANLA) ruled on this issue.
