We use various AI-based tools for tasks like illustrations (not maps or charts) and to create first draft translations of quotes or extractions from documents. In the former, a human has selected images and adjusted parameters to get the desired effect. In the latter, our staff edits or even rewrites the first draft to properly reflect our understanding of the intent.
We have occasionally used AI-based tools to create content in special circumstances and when we do, we explicitly cite our usage.
